Halloween Pictures

I know I posted today's picture but it is Halloween so I had to post something in keeping with the night. I couldn't find any pumpkins, which I was a bit bummed about, but my neighbour lent me two plug in pumpkins with lights and I had two strings of mini-lights with the little pumpkin covers so at least people know we're open for Trick or Treating!!

Next year I'll be getting some pumpkins early!!

My very first photo!

I was worried about joining this challenge. What if I don't have time? What if I don't feel like doing taking a picture that day? What if... what if... what if? Then I realized that it wouldn't be a challenge if it were easy and I really wanted to try. I might occasionally recycle an old photograph but I'm definitely going to aim for new photos every day. I can only try!

Today's topic is a Gerber Daisy that was part of a bouquet I bought yesterday just because I loved the colours of them. I was really pleased with how close and sharp I was able to get the tiny petals at the center of the flower. I do wish I could do a pumpkin but there seems to be some weird pumpkin shortage up in Northern Alberta because I couldn't find one anywhere! Maybe I'll sneak over to my neighbours and get a picture of theirs!
